In order to implement the Douglas Drive Corridor Study and improve pedestrian and vehicular safety, the City initiated preliminary design on the roadway from Highway 55 to Medicine Lake Road. As part of the WSB/LHB project team, Stevens provided preliminary design, utility relocation and design, research and interpretation of mapping, coordination with private utilities, and on-site meetings as a sub consultant for WSB & Associates on the $20 million (estimated) project.
Verification of all public and private utility mapping for identification of utility conflicts during reconstruction of Douglas Drive from TH 55 to CSAH 70. Reconfiguration of existing utilities and design of new utilities to fit new roadway design plans. Responsible for all mapping, design, and drafting.
