Cloverdale Farm in Stillwater Minnesota has approximately one mile of trails throughout the development. Stevens was asked to analyze the current condition of the walking trails along McDonald Drive North and between 53rd Street Court North and McDonald Drive Overlook North.
After analyzing the trails, Stevens developed a maintenance and repair program including a pavement management plan. The trail upkeep and maintenance is the responsibility of the Cloverdale Farm Home Owners Association. Stevens made sure to keep this in mind when determining the best corrective actions knowing that they would be dealing with a wide range of repairs and the associated costs.
Stevens recommended three different options, including life-cycle cost comparisons and long-term maintenance details. Those options included full reconstruction, spot repairs, and a combination of both.
