Project Details
The Balsam Lake Brewery and Market worked with Stevens Engineers on site design for their new facility in Balsam Lake. Site design included analysis of a vacant lot in the village that had many constraints. There were moderate elevation changes, existing wayward signage at the corner of the property that needed to be preserved, and new construction had to match into the existing streets, sidewalks, and other structures. Site design included an erosion control plan, sidewalk and parking lot sizing and design with ADA accessibility and truck loading areas. In addition, an analysis of the stormwater drainage was done to ensure that no runoff would affect neighboring structures.
